About This Project

I'm Yana, a graphic designer with the capability to showcase one’s personality, mood, and contrast through minimal graphics. My brand, DmyBny, embodies my ambivert personality that inspires me to portray duality of emotions ; the seemingly grumpy outer self and the soft, expressive inner self. I use outline based graphic design techniques, systematic color choices, friendly symbolically real emotion representation, and emotive creativity to express that duality. To me, good design is not only beautiful, but meaningful. It has to be real, truthful, and hold deep emotions and sentiments from its makers. I want to become a designer who assists brands, individual creators, and emotionally driven clients in constructing distinct visual representations that are sincerely simple yet powerful. Whether it is designing logos, branding systems or microsites that tell imaginative tales, I seek to provide the heart of the brand, which goes beyond the superficial.
